Shopping with us is simple — and every purchase helps preserve the DRT and Texas history. To the right are answers to the questions we hear most about ordering, shipping, and picking up items from the Sidney Sherman Chapter or the Cradle in Galveston.

Every item in our collection benefits one of two causes close to our hearts: the preservation of The Cradle, our historic Galveston birthplace, or the work of the Sidney Sherman Chapter itself. We've noted which cause each piece supports right on its product listing — so you'll always know exactly where your dollars are headed.

Kinda, sorta — but not the way you're thinking. We build sales tax into the listed price, so what you see is what you'll pay. No surprises at checkout.

Shipping is a flat $13 per order, not per item — so feel free to fill your cart. We ship via USPS Priority Mail in a flat-rate envelope, and we'll fit as much as we possibly can into that envelope for you. (Our team has gotten quite good at this particular game of Tetris.) There is no “handling” charge—our ladies are volunteers with a love for DRT and Texas!

Absolutely, and we'd love that! If you're local to Galveston — or just love an excuse to visit — you can arrange to pick up your order in person at The Cradle. Just let us know at checkout or reach out to us directly, and we'll set up a time. We'll even take you on a little tour while you're there. We love to show her off!

Please allow 7-14 days for your order to be packed with care and shipped via USPS Priority Mail. You'll receive tracking information as soon as it's on its way. Remember, we’re volunteers—no staff, no warehouse—just ladies who care.
